I was excited to borrow this series from a friend as it's very hard to come by these days. (or at least very expensive as there are so many volumes) All the comics were originally printed in full color from my understanding so I was a bit saddened to find nothing but black and white print on the inside. But the lack of color did not diminish my enjoyment for long.

The characters were all very strongly written, if a bit macho for my tastes on the men's side. The art was gorgeous and well drawn. Each character had their own distinctive features which generally made it easy to recognize each out of the large cast of characters. I won't be starting the next volume soon, but it's great to have these sitting on my shelf for a rainy day. :)
